WiHPCA Webinar Series – ABCs of Audits (July 28, 2026)

Hospice providers face an increasingly complex audit landscape, with a growing number of oversight agencies, review contractors, and regulatory requirements impacting operations, reimbursement, and compliance. From ADRs and UPICs to SMRCs, OIG investigations, and Medicare Medical Reviews, the alphabet soup of audit-related acronyms can be overwhelming.

Join Bryan Nowicki, Partner at Husch Blackwell, for an informative and practical session designed to help hospice leaders navigate the intricacies of the audit process. Bryan will break down the key organizations and terminology hospices need to know, explain the purpose and scope of various audit activities, and highlight common areas that draw regulatory scrutiny.

He is a staunch advocate when representing clients before local, state and federal judicial, quasi-judicial, administrative and legislative bodies.
