Objectives

Publicly reported hospice quality data on Care Compare is expanding with the addition of two claims-based measures (Hospice Visits in the Last Days of Life and the Hospice Care Index) in May 2022 and the Family Caregiver Survey Star Rating slated to debut in August 2022.

At the completion of this session, participants will be able to:

1. Describe the quality measures that will debut on Hospice Care Compare in 2022

2. Identify the differences between actual performance scores and the case-mix adjusted scores publicly reported on Care Compare

3. Interpret and utilize publicly reported quality data to identify improvement opportunities
