Session Description: Corrective Action Plans are often required after complaint surveys, Immediate Jeopardy surveys, state surveys, Medicare Certification surveys or accreditation surveys.  This webinar will focus on creating a Corrective Action Plan that is easy for you to operationalize while being acceptable to surveyors.  These tips will include “do’s and don’ts” in writing and completing the Corrective Action Plan.  Actual case examples will be used.

The participant will be able to:

·       Identify survey findings that will result in a requirement for a Corrective Action Plan.

·       List 3 issues that result in Corrective Action Plans not being accepted by surveyors.

·       Specify 2 “don’ts” in completing Corrective Action Plans.
